Summary of Role

Mainstream Renewable Power is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to join the team in Ulsan, South Korea working full time for the KF Wind floating offshore wind farm project, a joint venture with Ocean Winds. Principle responsibility is for strategic sourcing and contract management.

What will you do?

Develop and execute procurement sourcing strategies to meet business goals and ensure compliance with project processes,

  • Negotiate key supply chain agreements,
  • Handle Contract management,
  • Develop a supplier positioning profile to assess business risk and opportunities,
  • Coordinate the issuing of tenders and the evaluation of returns,
  • Deal with claim mitigation and possible cost disputes,
  • Identify potential new suppliers in order to improve competitiveness,
  • Develop and manage Supplier qualification process,
  • Interface with different functions for calculations: CAPEX, OPEX, production yield, LCOE, etc.
  • Ensure alignment with internal stakeholders and contribute to the execution model for floating wind value chain.

What do we require?

BSc/MSc degree in a relevant subject,

  • 4+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience, preferably within large CAPEX infrastructure projects,
  • Experience in managing services contracts and delivering significant savings within these contracts,
  • It could be an advantage if you are experienced in starting up or growing a business,
  • Excellent communication, fluency in written and verbal English and good cross-cultural understanding,
  • Advanced negotiation skills,
