We are looking for a Legal and Product Counsel to join our Legal team at monday.com.
If you are a fast learner, multidisciplinary attorney with a passion for law and technology read on! The ideal applicant is well-versed in dealing with complex and changing laws and regulations, especially on issues such as AI, privacy and IP; Able to handle multiple priorities, translate legal concepts and regulations into actionable advice and scale our legal frameworks and terms.

About The Role
- Work closely with Product and R&D teams to counsel on monday.com’s evolving products and features
- Identify and counsel on risks while providing practical guidance and risk mitigation strategies for new or existing products, features and GTM activities.
- Create new legal terms and agreements to support new products, offerings, programs and business collaborations.
- Work closely with the Security team on data security topics, open source management and company policies.
- Collaborate with various teams to deeply understand the company’s products and goals and provide general legal support within the company as required.
- Monitor development in legislation and best practices related to AI, trust and safety, data governance, privacy, IP and other relevant regulations ensuring ongoing compliance with changing laws.
- Handle legal aspects of marketing activities, including social media, content creation and global campaigns.
- Handle legal aspects of GTM initiatives and tech-partnerships, including privacy, creation of legal terms and billing.
- Review and negotiate agreements with vendors and partners, mainly relating to product and marketing.
- Promote the company’s IP, including in brand, trademarks, and copyrights and open source related topics.
Your Experience & Skills
- An excellent attorney with 5-6 years of relevant legal experience preferably as an in-house counsel at a technology company, or at the commercial/Hi-tech department of a leading law firm.
- A passion for technology and ability to understand product, technical and business aspects.
- Experience in a fast-paced technology company, ability to easily adapt to a dynamic environment and changing priorities and work under deadline pressure .
- Ability to take ownership of their responsibilities, collaborate well with others and a can-do attitude.
- Proven experience working with technology companies on agreements and ongoing consultations.
- Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing business agreements.
- Experience with AI, IP, privacy, marketing and consumer protection.
- Excellent legal and business judgment, team-player with outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated with exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and ability to work in cross-functional collaborations.
- Ability to speak and write English fluently.
