Introduction to the job
Primary functions of this position include regular & ad hoc reporting and application of generally accepted accounting principles. The position also maintains one or a combination of general accounting systems and will perform the following functions: prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, prepare and distribute reports, ensure that established procedures are followed and participate in audits within the functional area of accounting.
Role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for Cymer Korea and Singapore in regarding these areas:
- Account receivables & Revenue
- Intercompany transactions
- Inventory & Costing
- Fixed asset
- FX exposure forecast
- Others
Prepare reports for month-end close, external & internal audits, internal reporting, etc.
Acknowledge of the relevant policy and process, guide stakeholders
Post journal entries / Reconcile the account balances
Interact with stakeholder to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of jobs
Perform physical count (i.e. inventory, fixed asset)
Participate in process redesign, improvement, documentation, and training projects
Assist with special projects and analysis as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of accounting-related experience
Knowledge and/or hands on experience with Oracle is preferred

Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
Experience in Oracle is preferred
