Job Description:

Eybna is in the search for a professional and seasoned Production Manager of Functional Food Ingredients and Natural Flavors. The Production Manager’s primary responsibility is to maintain the reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing processes, which entails overseeing production processes, organizing production schedules, evaluating project and resource needs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. We are looking for someone with an Innovative mindset that will spearhead a team of formulators to success and great achievements.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Oversee all production activities to achieve production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives. Provide guidance and support to a team of formulators, adhering to established policies and management directives.

  • Production Planning: Manage production activities to meet production targets, quality benchmarks, and cost objectives. Develop weekly and monthly production plans, considering timelines, available resources, and priorities.

  • Material Planning: Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to effectively manage raw material inventory and production schedules, aligning them with business requirements to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

  • Production Protocols and Processes: Establish and maintain production protocols to enhance operational efficiency. Continuously refine processes to elevate quality and productivity.

  • GMP Compliance: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of production infrastructure in the functional ingredients, food and beverage industry. Ensure strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols within the production environment.

  • Communication: Facilitate cross-functional communication among relevant departments to swiftly and effectively resolve issues, ensuring satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders. Plan, organize, and delegate work assignments to accommodate departmental schedules and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Team Management Experience: A proven track record in team management, with the ability to lead, manage, and nurture a team of formulators.
  • Prior experience within the functional ingredients, aroma & flavors, food and beverage, pharmaceutical industries is essential.

  • An in-depth knowledge and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a mandatory requirement.

  • A bachelor’s degree in life science, food technology, and/or industrial engineering is mandatory.

  • Strong technical background in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.

  • Solid communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey ideas clearly.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (ERP Priority is a great advantage).

  • Fluent in English.
